Like the rest of the world, the Food Union Group is following the dramatic events in Ukraine with great concern and anxiety. The group, founded in Latvia and currently one of the leading players in the ice cream market in Europe with a direct presence in 6 European countries, hopes for a speedy end of hostilities and a return to negotiations. At the same time, the group will follow the decisions of the European Commission and the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will adapt to changes in the countries affected, whatever they may be.

Food Union in Latvia has responded to the call of the Ministry of Agriculture to aid the people of Ukraine by donating 26 tons of products.

Food Union products are exported to Ukraine. Ukraine is our second largest export country. We would like to continue shipping products to Ukraine if possible. Food Union exports to more than 30 countries, the largest of which (in terms of export volume in the portfolio) are Lithuania, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Norway, Denmark, Great Britain, Taiwan, Romania, Poland and others. We export an insignificant amount of ice cream to Kaliningrad, Russia in the amount of 1% of the total export portfolio.
